The veterinarian owner of a long standing and popular veterinary clinic finally decided that it was time to retire. Not having sold their business before, the Client was uncertain how to proceed.

Actions:

We advised the Client to get a third party valuation performed, so that they would have an independent and nationwide perspective on the likely sale value of the business.

Once completed, and the Client decided what price they wanted to ask, we produced the Confidential Information Memorandum and began the marketing process.  We ensured maximum visibility across all of the major online platforms and were able to appeal to the full base of nationwide veterinary brands and local veterinary owner-operator buyers.

We had multiple offers and a closing SOLD price of 9 X Average Adjusted EBITDA along with a long term lease on the property!
